When was the last time you took a risk (big or small), and pushed your own boundaries — socially, professionally, or otherwise? Were you satisfied with the outcome?
Everyone takes a risk. Some people do not realize it but often times, they just did something that was way beyond their expectations. Others may interpret their risk taking moments as confidence, trust, self-esteem and even faith. I know that I am risk taker, small or big. I was once asked, how can I cut and style my own hair without any experience in hairdressing. The answer is simple, I once thought how would my hair look like if I did cut it the way I like. Will it look good or bad? These questions will be forever questions if I didn’t try, so I did. 🙂
The most recent risk I did was creating this blog. I’ve always wanted to write, to share my thoughts, experiences, travels, food adventures and more. So many question came in and all I know is if didn’t try, I wouldn’t be feeling wonderful right now sharing this moments with you. Getting to see people from different parts of the world appreciating and following my blog.
Another FIRST for me! This is the 1st quarter of my BDJ Box subscription (October, November and December) and FIRST unboxing blog . I was not able to post for October unboxing since I just started the blog this month. So I was so excited. The reason I started to have monthly BDJ Box subscription is because I know that the little girls excitement is still within us. Receiving a box (sort of present) full of wonderful surprises. That happy feeling when you’re looking forward to receiving surprise every month. One of the BEST feeling ever!!!
This month’s box is a BENEFIT Exclusive (another 1st for me). An early Christmas gift for me since I’ve always wanted to try BENEFIT Products. But having a sensitive skin makes it hard for me to buy different products, and this month’s items gave me an opportunity to try the product first without paying for the item’s full price and see if it would work for me then that’s when I’ll purchase the full sizes of the products I loved.
THE BOX AND PACKAGING:
This month’s box is about discovering your natural beauty with Benefit’s best skin care and make up products
Bathina Scented Body Mist, 75 ml (Php1800 – full size) – I’ve used this for a couple of days now, it smells great but it doesn’t last long and you have to spray some more from time to time.
This photo was taken in Makati, Philippines; one of the busiest streets in the city. Taking the picture in an angle where the car you’re driving is on the front row of a red signal. The noisy and crowded road in this city looks serene and peaceful.
Perfect timing and proper placing entirely changed the mood of this picture when captured in this angle.
